Product
TILE CLEANER is a combination of acid based material, corrosion inhibitors and dispersing agents and is supplied as a clear blue solution.
- Aesthetics – Available in specify shades.
- Easy to use – Easily to mix with water and forms soft consistency paste which is easy to fill the joints.
- Shrinkage & cracking – Avoids cracks formation in the joints and also there is negligible shrinkage.
- Service Temperature – Specially formulated for temperature range of 5° – 120°C.
- Water resistant – Excellent water-resistance making it beneficial for application in areas immersed under water.
- Durability & UV resistant – Excellent UV resistance & durability enables the product use for exterior application.
- High Strength & abrasion resistant – High strength & abrasion resistance properties makes it suitable for grouting of toilets & bathrooms.
Cleaning brickwork :
- A small trial area should be cleaned first to determine the most suitable TILE CLEANER cleaning agent dilution. Pre-wet the brickwork, then using a sponge, rub the affected areas with a soluon of TILE CLEANER cleaning agent and water.
- Strength of the solution required will vary but should be between 1:1 and 1:4 (by volume of TILE CLEANER cleaning agent to water). When the acon has finished, wash down thoroughly with clean water.
Cleaning large items of equipment :
- E.g. Ready mix trucks, concrete mixers, barrows, etc. TILE CLEANER cleaning agent should be liberally applied to the deposits by a so broom and allowed to soak overnight if possible.
- . If the surfaces of the deposit can be cracked by mechanical means this will speed up the operaon In severe cases more than one application may be necessary.
- On completion, dissolved deposits and loose material should be wire brushed and washed away with clean water.
Cleaning small tools :
- Use TILE CLEANER as a dip. The tools should be soaked overnight, then taken out and washed with clean water to remove all loosely adhering materials.
- Care should be taken to avoid prolonged contact between TILE CLEANER and zinc or aluminum parts of tools, e.g. rivets, etc.
Cleaning concrete floors :
- Pre-wet the floors, then using a sff bristle broom, brush the affected areas with a soluon of TILE CLEANER and water.
- Strength of the soluon required will vary but should be between 1:1 and 1:4 (TILE CLEANER cleaning agent to water). When the acon has finished, wash down thoroughly with clean water.
Removal of rust and mill scale :
- Pre wet the floors, then using a sff bristle broom; brush the affected areas with a soluon of TILE CLEANER and water. Strength of the soluon required will vary but should be between 1:1 and 1:4 (TILE CLEANER to water).
- When the acon has finished, wash down thoroughly with clean water. Wire brush again to remove remaining loose material and finish by thoroughly washing down with clean water.
- Repeat if necessary. High degree of rust or scale can be removed by soaking in the TILE CLEANER solution for 60 minutes.
Etching concrete floors :
- For etching surfaces to remove laitance and give a mechanical key before applying resin or other coang, TILE CLEANER cleaning agent should be diluted with water and applied at the rate of approximately 2 1 liter/2 M2.
- The dilution will depend upon the condion of the floors and the degree of etching required, but normally it will be between 1:2 and 1:4. When the action has finished, wash down thoroughly with clean water.
Health & Safety :
- TILE CLEANER cleaning agent is acid based and should be handled with care.
- It aacks zinc, aluminum and putty. If in doubt about its effect on a material, test a small area before application.
- Avoid contact with skin. Rubber gloves and goggles should be worn.
- Wash spillages with plenty of water. Enclosed areas should be well ventilated.
- If contact with eyes, wash immediately with water and seek medical advice.
